The Department of Geography was created with the establishment of the College in the year 1979. Geography is offered at graduate levels. While B.A Geography was started in 1979 and was approved in 1979 by Kumaon University. The Geography department at our college offers a wide range of courses that focus on the study of the earth and its inhabitants. Students can expect to learn about physical geography, including geomorphology, climatology, and biogeography, as well as human geography, including economic geography, cultural geography, and urban studies. The department also provides opportunities for fieldwork and research, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in the field. Graduates of the program will have a deep understanding of the earth and its inhabitants, as well as the skills to analyze and solve problems related to the environment and human society.
