The Department of Chemistry was created with the establishment of the College in the year 1979. Chemistry is offered at graduate levels. While B.Sc. was started in 1979 and was approved in 1979 by Kumaon University. The program will likely include courses that cover the fundamental concepts of chemistry, such as chemical reactions, bonding, thermodynamics, and kinetics. Students will learn about the properties and behavior of matter, and will gain hands-on experience through lab work and research opportunities.
